Mid-Year Security and Anti-Phishing Update

On June 26, 2008 NAFCU Services hosted a live “Mid-Year Security and Anti-Phishing Update” webinar with Cyveillance, our Preferred Partner for anti-phishing and online card fraud monitoring.
The webinar focused on the latest wrinkles in efforts to compromise personal data, including malware, blended and payload delivery attacks, telephone/VOIP (vishing), smishing, spear phishing, fast flux attacks, pharming, cross-site scripting, and “man-in-the-middle” scams. The webinar also covers best practices for information security professionals.
Presenters on the webinar were three seasoned executives from Cyveillance: James Brooks, Director, Product Management; Eric Olson, Vice president, Technology Group; and Greg Ogorek, Manager, Security Operations Center.
